Our Trip to Corpus Christi

The boys had never been to the beach and had been asking to go for quite some time. When Paul had a teacher's conference in Corpus Christi, he invited us to go with him! We had a really good family weekend away from our normal routine.

When we first got to our hotel room, Eli and Micah went straight outside to watch the waves.

 Their first time in the ocean!

 The loved the waves "chasing" them.

 Joshua even seemed to like the sand.

 The next morning, everyone was up early as usual and we watched the sun rise.

 When Paul went to some of the conference, the boys and I went to play on the beach. Eli was excited to make sandcastles.

 Micah just wanted to splash in the water.

 Joshua enjoyed picking up shells

 and crawling after the waves.

 Before dinner, Paul came back to the hotel and we visited the aquarium.

 The stingrays were fun to touch...until one splashed all of us in the face!

 Eli and Micah really liked how friendly this sea turtle was.

 We all giggled at the otters.

The boys had a great time and are asking to go back when it's warmer and they can actually swim in the ocean!
